civil wedding venues in england
The Holiday Inn Brighton –Seafront is happy to announce that it is now able to hold civil wedding ceremonies. This allows you to organise your special day from start to finish at the same venue. We would like to suggest that the following guidelines are observed when arranging a civil ceremony:
- Establish availability with both the hotel and the registrar for your chosen date
- Make a provisional booking with ourselves either in person or by telephone which we will hold until you have confirmed details with the registrar.
- Visit the Brighton registry office and make a provisional booking with them, this can be up to 12 months in advance.
The most important documentation for the civil marriage is the ‘notice of marriage’ certificate, without which the ceremony cannot take place.
The information given above is purely a guide and we would recommend that you contact the Brighton registry office for full details of the procedures involved:-

- The Arundel Suite - Room hire charge £600
The ceremony can only be held at the hotel if the reception is held there.
Floral arrangements for the room can be arranged by the hotel at an additional cost. The room can be set either formally with an aisle, or informally.
